Thursday PRE-CONFERENCE

Pre-Conference Workshop

Session 1 - Biotensegrity Concepts in Motion
Animations of embryological development  illuminate the collaborative relationship of tension and compression that is the structural basis of human movement. Unique movement sequences practiced individually and with partners facilitate experiences of oscillating in non-linear, three-dimensional, continuous tension networks.

Session 2 - Biotensegrity Model Building and Movement
Graham Scarr teaches model  building of the T-Icosahedron. The T-Icosahedron relates to the design and teaching of movement  that facilitates the collaborative relationship of tension and compression.
Movement sequences that  develop the morning material  embody principles of biotensegrity and contribute to efficiency of gait.
